It has happened again.  In the America’s another earthquake has hit causing damage and death.

Earthquakes SEEM to be more more prevalent in the past 6 months with:

  • Haiti (not in the ‘Americas’)
  • Chicago
  • Chile

The focus of this website is NOT forecasting earthquakes or guessing where the next earthquake will happen.  The focus is providing customer’s with earthquake insurance so when an earthquake causes damage to your home, you have coverage.

Examples of coverage:

  • A $150,000.00 home added earthquake coverage to their policy and the added coverage resulted in a $45.00 a year increase.
  • A $1,000,000.00 rental home with a brick exterior added earthquake insurance to their policy.  The price increase for this coverage was $388.00 per year.

So… Should you buy earthquake insurance?  In Georgia, there are several fault lines.   Insurance is positioned traditionally for Perils that are more prevalent such as Fire, Hail, and the list is long.  The question needs to be “is the added attention and severity of “local” earthquakes warrent the added coverage”?

We believe that the added cost of the coverage is SMALL for the added peace-of-mind.

Give us a call or fill out the attached quote sheet.  We will respond quickly to your request.

Thank you again for your time and consideration.
